Penmen Author Department-Record 3.34 Fall GPA

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University athletic department announced Friday that its 372 student-athletes posted a department-wide grade-point average of 3.34 in the fall semester, setting a new school mark and extending a streak of consecutive semesters of a department GPA of 3.0 or better to nine.

Of the 372 student-athletes, 267 – 72 percent – achieved a 3.0 or better, while 18 recorded a perfect 4.0.

Eighteen of the 19 SNHU teams earned at least a 3.0, with 11 of those reaching a 3.3. Volleyball's 3.697 was the highest team GPA among female sports, while soccer checked in with a 3.483 to pace the men.
