Female Athlete of the Week: Miranda Peloquin - Women's Soccer - Jr., M
Miranda Peloquin (Greenville, R.I.) registered four points on two goals during a 2-0 week for the Penmen, as she notched the game-winning tally in the 17th minute of a 3-0 win against Saint Anselm on Wednesday and then provided a ninth-minute insurance goal to make it 2-0 in an eventual 3-0 victory against Pace on Saturday.

Male Athlete of the Week: Matt Paradis - Men's Golf - So.
Matt Paradis (Hooksett, N.H.) carded a 2-under 67 in the final round to push to the top of the leaderboard with a 3-under 135, beating out 80 other golfers on the strength of his tourney-high eight birdies, as the Penmen captured their second tournament title of the season by totaling a 555 at the Penmen Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Hanover Country Club.

Notes:
- The Penmen went 2-0 last week as they posted a pair of 3-0 shutouts in NE10 play.
- Junior Miranda Peloquin (Greenville, R.I.) registered four points on two goals during the week, as she notched the game-winning tally in the 17th minute of a 3-0 win against Saint Anselm on Wednesday and then provided a ninth-minute insurance goal to make it 2-0 in an eventual 3-0 victory against Pace on Saturday.
- Senior Courtney Benson (Hopkinton, N.H.) scored a pair of goals against Pace, potting the eventual game winner just 4:44 into the contest and then putting it further out of reach by making it 3-nil in the 57th minute.
- Senior Abigail Maker (Naples, Maine) tallied three points on three assists in the two wins. Maker dished the game-winning helper on Peloquin's goal versus Saint Anselm and then did the same on Benson's marker in the fifth minute against Pace. Maker also set up SNHU's second goal in the ninth minute against the Setters to help build an early lead.
- Senior goalkeeper Paige Salmon (W. Hempstead, N.Y.) made all eight saves she needed to, as she recorded a pair of shutouts during the week. Salmon stopped two shots against the Hawks and then made a season-high six saves in the victory over Pace. Salmon has not given up a goal over the last 253:59.
- Senior Rianna Fasanello (E. Bridgewater, Mass.) was selected as the Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, as she anchored a Penmen back line that did not allow a goal and limited opponents to just 13 shots in two matches.

Notes:
- Men's soccer remained undefeated with a 1-0-1 week.
- Sophomore Louka Masset (Paris, France) scored a pair of goals in a 2-2 tie with No. 25 Le Moyne on Saturday. Trailing, 2-0, in the second half, Masset found the back of the net in 56th minute and then again in the 71st to eventually send the game to overtime. Masset also made a couple of big plays on the back line for SNHU near the end of regulation.
- Junior Alex Satrustegui (Pamplona, Spain) registered a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win against Saint Anselm on Wednesday. Satrustegui assisted on the game's first goal just 2:28 in and then scored the eventual game winner in the 52nd minute to help SNHU improve to 4-0.
-Junior goalkeeper Daniel Milton (Ajax, Ontario) stopped five of the eight shots he faced during the week. Milton stopped four of the five shots he faced against Saint Anselm and then made one save, but did not allow a goal over the final 104:33, as SNHU clawed back for a 2-2 tie against Le Moyne.

Notes:
- Volleyball went 0-3 last week, as it fell to crosstown-rival Saint Anselm in non-league action and dropped a pair of matches at the Yellow Jacket Invitational.
- Senior Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) amassed 34 kills (3.09 k/s), 22 digs (2.00 d/s) and three service aces (0.27 sa/s) during the week. Coronis' best showing came in Saturday's 3-1 loss at AIC in which she tallied a match-high 15 kills and 12 digs.
- Junior Priscila Castro (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) recorded 25 kills (2.27 k/s), 39 digs (3.55 d/s) and a pair of service aces. Her best performance also came against the Yellow Jackets, as she rattled off 12 kills and collected 18 digs.

Notes:
- Field hockey split a pair of games last week, including a win in its conference opener at American International.
- Junior Maddie Holt (Seabrook, N.H.) assisted on both goals in the win at AIC, dishing a helper on a goal in the 31st minute by sophomore Alison Hildreth (Hampton, N.H.) and then setting up freshman Helene Servais (Brussels, Belgium), who added insurance in the 39th minute.
- Junior goalkeeper Melanie Rennie (Madison, Conn.) stopped 12 of 14 shots she faced during the week, including all three in the shutout at AIC. Rennie also turned aside nine bids in Wednesday's 2-0 loss at Saint Anselm.

Notes:
- The Penmen ran at the fifth annual Bruce Kirsch Cup on Saturday, with the women taking second place and men winning the meet.
- Sophomore Jill Couto (Newton Junction, N.H.) ran to her second straight individual victory by completing the 6K course in a time of 22:39.0, more than 13 seconds faster than her closest competitor.
- Senior Tyler McLaren (Pepperell, Mass.) also cruised to his second straight win with a season-best time of 25:16, outpacing the runner-up by more than 37 seconds. McLaren was chosen as the Northeast-10 Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.

Notes:
- Women's tennis tacked on two more 8-1 victories to improve to a perfect 4-0 last week.
- Junior Sofia Morais (Porto, Portugal) went 4-0, including 2-0 at No. 1 singles, during a 2-0 week for the Penmen. Morais was a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 winner against Mana Seifaei in an 8-1 win against Merrimack on Saturday and then led 6-1 when Alana Wyatt was forced to retire in Sunday's 8-1 victory over Franklin Pierce. Morais also combined with classmate Anna Sala (Matadepera, Spain) for 8-1 No. 1 doubles triumphs against Merrimack's Lauren Persson and Seifaei, as well as Franklin Pierce's Sonia Rodrigues and Wyatt. Morais was tabbed as the NE10 Player of the Week on Tuesday.
- Freshman Casey Burns (Westbrook, Conn.) went 3-0, as she toppled Merrimack's Cassie Restrepo, 6-0, 6-3, in addition to beating Mackenzie Blair and Danielle Dunn, 8-3, at No. 2 doubles with junior Kaitlyn Poje (E. Stroudsburg, Pa.). Burns again teamed with Poje at No. 2 doubles for an 8-0 blanking of Franklin Pierce's Sarah Rich and Kelly O'Donnell. Burns rested at singles against the Ravens.

- Men's tennis opened the season Thursday with an 8-1 victory against Colby-Sawyer.
- Senior Tiago Fernandes (Porto, Portugal) captured a No. 1 singles victory, downing Nick Mathiew, 6-0, 6-2, while also recording an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles with classmate Jeremy Reichentahl (Cheshire, Conn.) against Ryan Broderick and Matt Burke.
