MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Southern New Hampshire University athletic department placed 242 of its student-athletes, representing all 19 programs, on the Northeast-10 Spring 2018 Commissioner's Honor Roll, the league office announced Tuesday morning.
In total, 3,631 NE10 student-athletes earned a grade point average of 3.0 or better as the Commissioner's Honor Roll members made up 62 percent of the total number of student-athletes from the 15 NE-10 institutions. In addition, 87 percent of the 15 member institutions had at least 50 percent of their total student-athlete population make the list, while SNHU was one of six institutions that had at least 50 percent of its population.
The 242 Penmen on the list accounted for 70.6 percent of Southern New Hampshire's athletes – the fourth highest mark among NE10 programs. SNHU also had 26 athletes achieve a 4.0.

The NE10 CHR program recognizes the conference's student-athletes for their achievements within the classroom. In order to be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
