Female Athlete of the Week: Sydney Crema - Women's Soccer - Fr., GK
Hannah Rose (Waterloo, Ontario) stopped 10 of the 11 shots she faced during a 1-1-0 week for the Penmen. Rose made three of the four saves she needed to in a 1-0 setback at Saint Anselm on Wednesday and then turned aside all seven in a 2-0 blanking of Pace on Saturday.

Male Athlete of the Week: Alex Satrustegui - Men's Soccer - Sr., F
Alex Satrustegui (Pamplona, Spain) scored three more goals in a 2-0-0 week, including both game winners, as he was named the NE10 Player of the Week for the third straight week earlier Monday. Satrustegui found the back of the net late in the 59th minute of a 3-1 win at Saint Anselm on Tuesday and then snapped a scoreless tie with back-to-back goals in the 66th and 71st minutes to hand unbeaten Le Moyne a 3-1 defeat Saturday.

Notes:
- Women's soccer, ranked 12th in the United Soccer Coaches Division II Poll, went 1-1-0 last week, as it suffered a 1-0 setback at crosstown-rival Saint Anselm on Wednesday, before bouncing back with a 2-0 shutout at Pace on Saturday.
- Freshman Hannah Rose (Waterloo, Ontario) stopped 10 of the 11 shots she faced during the week. Rose made three of the four saves she needed to at Saint Anselm and then turned aside all seven in the blanking of Pace.
- Junior Shae Roys (No. Bilerica, Mass.) scored 2:32 into the Pace match, while freshman Sydney Carney (Northborough, Mass.) also added a goal in the 70th minute.

Notes:
- Men's soccer, which is receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Division II Poll, is unbeaten through its first six games for the fifth straight season, after going 2-0-0 last week.
- Senior Alex Satrustegui (Pamplona, Spain) scored three more goals, including both game winners, as he was named the NE10 Player of the Week for the third straight week earlier Monday. - Sophomore Tom Marriott (Nottingham, England) collected a pair of assists, connecting with Satrustegui on his game winner at Saint Anselm, before feed Brum at Le Moyne.
- Senior goalkeeper Daniel Milton (Ajax, Ontario) stopped four of the six shots he faced during the week, making two saves each at Saint Anselm and at Le Moyne.

Women's Volleyball (2-7, 1-1 NE10)

Notes:
- Volleyball went 1-1 last week, as it snapped a five-match skid with its first NE10 win of the season.
- Junior Amanda Costales (Wantagh, N.Y.) tallied 18 kills (2.57 k/s), 14 digs (2.0 d/s), three service aces (0.43 sa/s) and three blocks (0.43 b/s), while hitting .304. Costales recorded eight kills, three service aces, seven digs and three blocks in a 3-1 loss at Saint Anselm on Wednesday and then reached a season high with the 10 kills on .320 hitting to go with seven digs in Saturday's 3-0 sweep of Assumption.
- Senior Jessica Dillon (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) racked up 44 assists (6.29 a/s), three aces and 24 digs (3.43 d/s). Dillon turned in a double-double with 14 helpers and 10 digs at Saint Anselm and then notched another against the Greyhounds with 30 assists and 14 digs, while chipping in two service aces and three kills on .375 hitting.

Notes:
- Field hockey went 0-1 last week with a 4-1 loss to crosstown-rival Saint Anselm.
- Senior Maddie Holt (Seabrook, N.H.) scored to make it a one-goal game with over 11 minutes left in the opening half, but a pair of second-stanza tallies by the Hawks put it away.
- Senior Melanie Rennie (Madison, Conn.) made five saves.

Cross Country

Notes:
- The men's and women's cross country teams both competed at UMass Dartmouth's Corsair Invitational on Saturday.
- The women checked in 16th, overall, in the 45-team field, and were paced by freshman Grace Henson (Cumberland, R.I.), who claimed 19th place in a time of 19:08.67.
- The men made it 2-for-2 this season by winning the meet, which featured 40 other teams. Sophomore Cedric Jocelyn (Nyack, N.Y.) finished fourth in a time of 25:08.23 and was supported by sophomore Micah Hewitson (New Market, Md.), who was right behind in fifth place at 25:11.20, as well as junior Michael Moreno (Houston, Texas), who finished seventh at 25:15.09.

- Women's tennis took part in the ITA Championships on Friday-Sunday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.
- Freshman Alexxa Etienne (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) went 3-1 in singles play to reach the quarterfinals of the ITA East Regional Championships on Sunday. Etienne defeated Wilmington's (Del.) Marie Rondot, 6-4, 6-4, Chestnut Hill's Mia Covic, 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (6) and USciences' Karla Miletic, 0-6, 6-3, 1-0 (5), before falling to Roberts Wesleyan's Nathabi Mogopodi, 7-5, 3-6, 1-0 (8) in the quarters.
- Senior Sofia Morais (Porto, Portugal) went 7-2 last week, including 4-1 in singles play, at the ITA East Regional Championships. Morais topped USciences' Danielle Paran, 8-5, and Merrimack's Meredith Wedro, 8-2, in the qualifier bracket, before taking down the District of Columbia's Joanna Skrzypczynska, 6-3, 6-3, and Queen's (N.Y.) Reehan Rashad, 6-4, 6-4 to reach the round of 16, where she fell to Mogopodi, 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (8). Morais reached the quarterfinals of the doubles bracket with classmate Anna Sala (Matadepera, Spain), as they defeated USciences' Paran and Stephanie Mazurek, 8-3, UDC's Skrzypczynska and Anastasiia Danylova, 9-7, and NYIT's Monica Borobia and Ann Kathrin Zilles, 8-3, prior to losing to NYIT's Barbara Quagliardi and Diana Baumgartnere, 8-2.

- Men's tennis competed in the ITA Championships on Friday-Sunday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.
- Senior Tiago Fernandes (Porto, Portugal) went 6-1, including 3-0, in the singles bracket, where he made it to Monday's semifinal round. After receiving a first-round bye, Fernandes, the bracket's top seed, defeated Roberts Wesleyan's Guido Janssen, 6-1, 6-3, USciences' Borna Markusic, 6-1, 6-0, and Concordia's (N.Y.) Jan Seno, 7-5, 5-7, 1-0 (7), to become one of the final four players left standing. He also teammed with freshman Emmanuel Vacalares (Cagayan de Oro, Philippines) to topple Le Moyne's Gerardo Wibmer and Xavier Graelis, 8-2, NYIT's Nicholas Castaldo and Yago Granda, 8-6, and Merrimack's Conrad Koch and Jonathan Garcia, 8-1, to advance to the quarterfinals, where they fell to Concordia's Eymric Chevalier and Michele Fenoaltea.
- Juniors Bas van Biezen (Sassenheim, Netherlands) and Willem van Biezen (Sassenheim, Netherlands) received a first-round bye in the doubles bracket and cruised into Monday's semifinal. They knocked off Daemen's Patrick O'Briena and James Schaab-Rozbicki, 8-1, Concordia's Henry Masters and Seno, 8-1, and then Merrimack's Tyler Clontz and Frank Vega, 8-3.

Notes:
- Women's golf opened its season by placing 14th at the Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 15-16 at Hanover Country Club. The Penmen were one of just two non-Division I teams in the 15-squad field.
- Freshman Hannah May (Phoenix, Ariz.) and sophomore Makyla Lewellen (Zainesville, Ohio) each shot 167 for the two days, including 79 in Sunday's final round.
