Female Athlete of the Week: Laura van der Doorn - Field Hockey - Jr., F
Laura van der Doorn (Beverwijk, The Netherlands) scored her first three goals of the season Saturday, registering a hat trick to send the Penmen, who finished the week 2-1, to a 7-3 win over Southern Connecticut in their NE10 opener.

Male Athlete of the Week: Daniel Milton - Men's Soccer - Sr., GK
Daniel Milton (Ajax, Ontario) stopped all four shots he faced during a 2-0-0 week for the Penmen, as made two saves in Wednesday's 1-0 blanking of Assumption for his fourth shutout of the season and then turned aside two more shots in a 4-0 victory over Stonehill on Saturday for shutout No. 5.

Women's Soccer (5-3-0, 3-2-0 NE10)

Notes:
- Women's soccer, which is receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Division II Poll, went 1-1-0 last week, as it absorbed a tough, 4-3 loss to 24th-ranked Franklin Pierce on Tuesday, before rallying for a 2-1 overtime win against American Int'l on Saturday.
- Freshman Sydney Carney (Northborough, Mass.) notched a goal and two assists during the week. Carney set up SNHU's first goal against Franklin Pierce, before assisting on the equalizer in the 55th minute and then putting home the OT winner in the 97th minute to lift the Penmen past AIC.
- Freshman Dorthea Glorud (Brumunddal, Norway) recorded a goal and an assist, as she scored the first Penmen goal against Franklin Pierce and assisted on the second that made it a one-score game.
- Freshman Hannah Rose (Waterloo, Ontario) stopped eight of 13 shots she faced during the week. After making three saves against the Ravens, Rose turned away five of six shots against the Yellow Jackets to earn the win.

Notes:
- Men's soccer, which is ranked 20th in the United Soccer Coaches Division II Poll, is 8-0-0 for the first time since 2015 and the third time in five years, after going 2-0-0 last week.
- Sophomore Ramon Hofmann (Thuringia, Germany) registered a goal and an assist during the week, doing all of his damage in a 4-0 victory over Stonehill on Saturday, to help snap the Skyhawks' three-match winning streak.
- Senior goalkeeper Daniel Milton (Ajax, Ontario) stopped all four shots he faced, as made two saves in Wednesday's 1-0 blanking of Assumption for his fourth shutout of the season and then turned aside two more shots against Stonehill for shutout No. 5.
- Senior Alex Satrustegui (Pamplona, Spain) after not finding the back of the net for the first time all season against the Greyhounds, added a tally versus the Skyhawks. He continues to lead the nation in goals.

Women's Volleyball (3-7, 1-1 NE10)

Notes:
- Volleyball went 1-0 last week and has now won two straight after blanking Merrimack, 3-0, Thursday.
- Senior Jessica Dillon (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) tallied seven kills, 30 assists, five digs and four blocks, while hitting .357.
- Freshman Ramona Fontaine (Chelsea, Mass.) turned in a career-high seven kills on .700 hitting, while recording three blocks.
- Junior Jaclyn Maguire (Rochester, N.Y.) recorded a team-high nine kills on .571 hitting to go with five digs and a pair of blocks.

Field Hockey (3-3, 1-0 NE10)

Notes:
- Field hockey went 2-1 last week, as it won its Northeast-10 opener
- Junior Laura van der Doorn (Beverwijk, The Netherlands) scored her first three goals of the season Saturday, registering a hat trick to send the Penmen to a 7-3 win over Southern Connecticut in their NE10 opener.
- Redshirt-junior Cassidy Huckins (Loudon, N.H.) registered three goals during the week. Huckins found the back of the net twice in a 3-2 loss at Bentley on Wednesday before adding a tally in the win over Southern Connecticut.
- Sophomore Hélène Servais (Brussels, Belgium) notched two goals and an assist. Servais scored two goals, including the game winner, verus the Owls and then assisted on the game's first goal in a 2-1 overtime triumph against Molloy on Sunday.
- Senior Maddie Holt (Seabrook, N.H.) scored both goals against Molloy, including the overtime winner in the 77th minute.
- Senior Melanie Rennie (Madison, Conn.) stopped 10 of 15 shots during the week. Rennie made six saves at Bentley and then turned away one of the two bids that came her way in the opening half against Southern Connecticut. Rennie wrapped the week by making three saves in the victory over Molloy. Sophomore Kate Pigsley (East Kingston, N.H.) played the second half against the Owls.

- Women's tennis went 2-1 last week, to get back to .500 on the season.
- Senior Sofia Morais (Porto, Portugal) went 5-1, including 3-0 at No. 2 singles. Morais defeated Bentley's Evann Welty, 6-0, 6-3, in a 6-1 Thursday, outlasted New Haven's Stephanie Gonzalez, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) in Saturday's 4-3 loss and took care of Cecilia Salazar, 6-0, 6-0, in Sunday's 6-1 triumph over American Int'l. Morais also combined with classmate Anna Sala (Matadepera, Spain) for a 6-0 No. 1 doubles win against Bentley's Hannah Fabianski and Katie Tynan, as well as a 6-4 victory versus AIC's Meri Jimeno-Vicente and Sophie Roberge.
- Freshman Alexxa Etienne (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) was also 5-1, including 3-0 at No. 3 singles. Etienne toppled Tynan, 6-0, 6-2, beat New Haven's Lilia Rodriguez, 6-4, 6-2, and blanked Roberge, 6-0, 6-0. Etienne also teamed with senior Rachel Wagner (Framingham, Mass.) for a 6-0 No. 2 doubles win against Welty and Courtney Flynn, as well as another 6-0 victory versus Taylor Pankewicz and Salazar.

- Senior Tiago Fernandes (Porto, Portugal) finished up at the ITA Championships last Tuuesday, losing in the finals of the singles tournament to Concordia (N.Y.) College's Michele Fenoaltea, 6-3, 6-4, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.
