Chad Mason was elevated to the position of Associate Director of Athletics in the fall of 2009 after serving as Assistant Director of Athletics since 2004. Prior to that, he spent six years as SNHU's Equipment and Events manager.

In his current role, Mason manages SNHU's athletic complex and facilities and also oversees the operations and equipment staff.  He oversees external operations for the department, including facility scheduling and booking, as well as purchasing  Mason also has NCAA compliance duties in the department.

Mason served as Equipment/Events Manager at SNHU since graduating from the University in 1998. His many responsibilities included the preparation, supervision and post-event maintenance of all functions within the athletic complex. He also handled the selection and ordering of team apparel and equipment on the yearly basis; and oversaw the hiring, training and development of 75 student employees.

Mason is a native of Hamilton, N.Y. and a graduate of Hamilton Central School. He is a past president of the SNHU Alumni Association and was presented the association's Young Alumni Award in 2000. Mason, who also instructs a course on facilities management within SNHU's acclaimed sport management department, earned his master's degree from SNHU in 2000.

Mason resides in Manchester with his wife Jennifer and sons Brady and Teagan.
