  • Baseball Has 22 Playing in Summer Leagues

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – Twenty-two student-athletes from the Southern New Hampshire University baseball team have found homes to play baseball this summer with 15 teams across five different leagues. The the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) leads the way with 11 Penmen, while the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) will feature four SNHU players. The New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL) and Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) will each host three Penmen, with one playing in the Interstate Collegiate Baseball League (ICBL).

  • Jack Perri Selected as Head Men’s Basketball Coach

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University Director of Athletics Anthony Fallacaro announced Tuesday that Jack Perri has been named the sixth head coach in the history of the men’s basketball program. Perri brings 20 years of coaching experience across all three NCAA divisions to SNHU, including success as a Division I head coach and a strong familiarity with the Northeast-10 Conference, both as a coach and student-athlete. Perri replaces Stan Spirou, who won 640 games over 33 seasons with SNHU, and will begin his duties in mid-June.

    Tyler McLaren, a member of the Southern New Hampshire University men’s cross country team, has been selected as the 2017-18 Northeast-10 Conference Man of the Year. The award, which is voted on by a panel of administrators from each NE10 institution, was presented Monday night at the conference’s annual awards banquet.
