160 Named to Northeast-10 Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll

SNHU STUDENT-ATHLETES ON HONOR ROLL

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – A total of 160 Southern New Hampshire University student-athletes were named to the Northeast-10 Conference Spring 2012 Commissioner’s Honor Roll announced Wednesday.  The honor roll recognizes student-athletes at each of the conference’s 16 institutions for their success in the classroom during the spring 2012 semester.  SNHU had 54% of its student-athletes named to the honor roll, one of 10 NE-10 institutions that had at least half of its student-athletes honored.

To be eligible for selection to the Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded a minimum 3.0 semester grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).

A minimum of four student-athletes from each of SNHU’s 15 teams which compete in the Northeast-10 were honored.  The Penmen had eight student-athletes honored for posting a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring, while another 64 student-athletes achieved at least a 3.5 GPA last semester.
