Corey Muscara returns for his second season of his second stint as an assistant baseball coach at SNHU in 2012-13. Muscara was an assistant for head coach Scott Loiseau’s first two seasons before serving as an assistant coach at Binghamton in 2010-11.
A former pitcher at Franklin Pierce after starting his career at Siena, Muscara posted a 3.10 ERA as a junior and threw 29.2 innings for the Ravens in two seasons.
In 2008, he was a member of the Northeast-10 championship team that went on to win the NCAA Northeast Regional title and advance to the NCAA Division II College World Series in Sauget, Illinois.
One year later, Muscara captained the Ravens to both the NE-10 regular season and tournament titles.
A native of Manchester, Muscara was a first team all-state pitcher at Trinity High School, earning team MVP honors as a senior. Muscara was selected to participate in the Twin State Baseball Classic All-Star Game.
