Bobby Bryant Named NE-10 Player of the Week
SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - Junior forward Bobby
Bryant (Nashua, N.H.) of the Southern New Hampshire
University hockey team was named the Northeast-10 Player of the
Week on Monday afternoon. The announcement comes after the
Penmen skated to a 5-4 victory over Franklin Pierce last
week.
Bryant notched two goals for the Penmen against Franklin Pierce on Tuesday. His first goal came with just over ten minutes elapsed in the first period to tie the game at 1-1. He would then register the game-winning goal with 12 minutes to play in the third period on an SNHU power play to snap a 10-game Penmen winless streak.
In 12 appearances for the Penmen, Bryant has totaled four goals and four assists for eight points, which ranks him third on the team in total points.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action on Thursday, travelling to UMass Dartmouth for a 7:30 p.m. non-conference matchup. The Penmen will return to home action at the Ice Den on February 2, hosting Saint Michael's College at 7:30 p.m.
