Men's Soccer Releases 2010 Schedule

2010 SNHU MEN'S SOCCER SCHEDULE

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer program announced its 2010 schedule Thursday.  The Penmen, who reached the NCAA quarterfinals last season, kick off the 2010 season at home Thursday, September 2 against Molloy College at 7:00 at Larkin Field.

"I look forward again to starting off our year at home.  We have a very challenging end to our schedule so an important part of the coaches' jobs will be managing our players so that they are as fresh as possible come the final regular season stretch. As always, are expectations are high as we look to build upon our quarterfinal run last fall," said SNHU head coach Marc Hubbard, who is entering his third season in 2010.

The Penmen open Northeast-10 play on Saturday, September 11, when they host the University of New Haven.  Southern New Hampshire closes out the regular season with three road contests against NCAA Tournament teams from a season ago.  The Penmen travel to Southern Connecticut October 23, Franklin Pierce October 26, then end the regular season October 30 at Le Moyne.  The Dolphins ended SNHU's 2009 season in the NCAA quarterfinals, advancing on penalty kicks after the two teams played to a 1-1 draw.
