James Goodwin is entering his first year at Southern New Hampshire as a member of the men's soccer coaching staff.

A 2008 graduate from Syracuse University with a degree in Health and Exercise Science.  Goodwin was a four-year member of the men’s soccer team at Syracuse, receiving honors as a Big East Academic All-Star and earning a spot on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. 

Prior to his current position at SNHU, Goodwin was a men’s soccer coach at Merrimack High School for two years.  He spent three years coaching at Hampshire Football Club U17 and was an assistant coach for the Olympic Development Program U16 for two years.   

Goodwin was a high school standout at Merrimack (N.H.) High School.  He tallied 30 goals and 24 assists over his career, and garnered First Team All-State accolades his senior season.  Goodwin was also a three time Nashua Telegraph All-Star Team recipient.
