    Men’s Tennis Battles in 7-0 Defeat at #1 Hawaii Pacific Junior Ricardo Marreiros (Portimao, Portugal) played his best tennis of the year and nearly grabbed a point at No. 2 singles, but the Southern New Hampshire University men’s tennis team closed out its Hawaii trip with a 7-0 loss to top-ranked Hawaii Pacific University on Monday at Central Oahu Regional Park.

    Penmen Author Department-Record 3.34 Fall GPA MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University athletic department announced Friday that its 372 student-athletes posted a department-wide grade-point average of 3.34 in the fall semester, setting a new school mark and extending a streak of consecutive semesters of a department GPA of 3.0 or better to nine.

    SNHU Announces New State-of-the-Art Athletic Facility Set to Open Fall 2017 MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University broke ground over the summer on a brand new $25-million multi-sport stadium for the Department of Athletics that will be home to men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s tennis, and women’s track & field. The facility, which will also host select field hockey home games, is expected to open in the Fall of 2017.

    Men’s Tennis Captures Gordon Invitational Juniors Xavier Aubron (Herouville, France) and Tiago Fernandes (Porto, Portugal) went a perfect 4-0 in two matches Saturday as the Southern New Hampshire University men’s tennis team won the Gordon Invitational. The Penmen doubled up host Gordon College, 6-3, in the morning before knocking off Babson College, 7-2, in the afternoon championship match.

    World Premiere: “College Sports Weekly” Episode Featuring SNHU to Air Aug. 11 MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics & Recreation will be showcased on an episode of “College Sports Weekly” that will air 25 times on seven different networks over the span of nearly a month, beginning Aug. 11. The show, which is hosted by Tony Minnis and produced by Harry Cicma Productions, will be available in 130 million homes.
