  • Fernandes Highlights Four Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Selections

    MANSFIELD, Mass. – Southern New Hampshire University junior Tiago Fernandes (Porto, Portugal) earned the Northeast-10 Sport Excellence Award for men’s tennis and was joined by teammate and classmate Xavier Aubron (Herouville, France), men’s lacrosse senior Keifer Heckman (Peabody, Mass.) and softball senior Nicole Gubellini (Salem, N.H.) as NE10 Academic All-Conference selections, the league announced last week.
  • Penmen Earn Third Straight Queen City Cup

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University athletic department was handed its third consecutive “Queen City Cup” by Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas at City Hall on Monday afternoon after the Penmen defeated Saint Anselm College in the year-long competition encompassing 16 sports contested between the two schools. SNHU posted a 20-14 victory this season after chalking up a 26-10 win last year and winning 22-12 in the Cup’s inaugural year back in 2014-15.

    TEMPE, Ariz. – Junior Xavier Aubron (Herouville, France) of the Southern New Hampshire University men’s tennis team was selected as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association/Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Award winner for the East Region, while Greg Coache was feted as the Wilson/ITA East Region Coach of the Year on Monday when the ITA announced its national and regional awards at the NCAA Division II Tennis Championships in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
