    BEDFORD, N.H. – Seniors Chris Walters (Stamford, Conn.) and Rianna Fasanello (E. Bridgewater, Mass.) received male and female Athlete of the Year honors, respectively, to highlight nine major awards that were handed out Monday night as the Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics & Recreation celebrated the 2017-18 season and recognized its seniors at the 53rd Annual Athletic Awards Ceremony, which was held at the Manchester Country Club.
  • THREE-PEAT! Men’s Tennis Captures 5-2 Victory Over Merrimack for Fourth NE10 Crown

    Senior Tiago Fernandes (Porto, Portugal) pulled out a huge win at No. 1 singles to clinch the match and earn Most Outstanding Player of the Northeast-10 Championship, as the top-seeded Southern New Hampshire University men’s tennis team defeated Merrimack College, 5-2, to earn its third straight NE10 Championship on Saturday afternoon at the SNHU Tennis Courts at Penmen Stadium.
  • Men’s Tennis Advances to Third Straight NE10 Final with 5-1 Win Over Bentley

    Seniors Ricardo Marreiros (Portimao, Portugal) and Miguel Marreiros (Portimao, Portugal) earned the first point of the match, as well as the final two, to lead the top-seeded Southern New Hampshire University men’s tennis team to a 5-1 victory against fifth-seeded Bentley University in the semifinal round of the Northeast-10 Championship, which was played Thursday morning at the Executive Health & Sports Center.
  • Thursday’s NE10 Men’s Tennis Semifinal Moved Inside to Executive Health & Sports Center at 9 a.m.

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University men’s tennis Northeast-10 semifinal match against Bentley University, scheduled for Thursday, April 19 (2 p.m.), has been moved indoors to the Executive Health & Sports Center due to expected rain in the forecast and will now begin at 9 a.m.
  • Fernandes Recognized as Northeast-10 Player of the Year for Second Straight Season

    MANSFIELD, Mass. – Senior Tiago Fernandes (Porto, Portugal) of the Southern New Hampshire University men’s tennis team was named the Northeast-10 Vern Cox Player of the Year for the second straight season Wednesday to highlight a league-high five All-Conference selections, including First Team selections at singles spots one through five.

  • Men’s Tennis Completes Third Straight Undefeated NE10 Slate with 7-2 Win vs. Merrimack

    Senior Miguel Marreiros (Portimao, Portugal) was part of a Southern New Hampshire University men’s tennis team landslide in singles play, as his win clinched a 7-2 victory against Merrimack College that gave the Penmen their third consecutive undefeated record in the Northeast-10 title and, with it, their third straight regular-season championship, as well as the No. 1 seed in the upcoming NE10 Championship, which begins Tuesday.
  • Saturday’s Men’s Tennis Match vs. Merrimack Moved Back Outside at 1:30 p.m.

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis match against Merrimack College, scheduled for Saturday, April 14, has been moved back outdoors to the SNHU Tennis Courts at Penmen Stadium and will now begin at 1:30 p.m.

    Senior Ricardo Marreiros (Portimao, Portugal) was part of a near total domination of singles play, as he clinched the match at No. 2, to lead the Southern New Hampshire University men’s tennis team to a 9-0 victory over Assumption College on Wednesday afternoon at the SNHU Tennis Courts at Penmen Stadium.
