Men's Cross Country 16th at Codfish Bowl

COMPLETE RESULTS

BOSTON- The Southern New Hampshire University men's cross country team finished 16^th out of 18 schools competing in the Codfish Bowl at Franklin Park Saturday morning.

Sophomore Jason Bays (Cresco, Pa.) led the Penmen with a collegiate-best time of 29:42 for the 8K layout to come in 130^th overall.  Senior Sam Tarrant (Cleverdale, N.Y.) was the next-highest SNHU finisher, turning in a time of 29:51.  Kevin Coyle (Salem, N.H.) posted a time of 30:33, while Michael Smith (Lynnfield, Mass.) posted a time of 31:17.

Tyler Parks registered a time of 32:00, while Matt Gray (Haverhill, Mass.) posted a time of 33:57.  Brian White (Windham, N.H.) rounded out the Penmen finishers with a 35:49 effort.

The SNHU men's cross country team returns to action next Saturday at the Gordon College Pop Crowell Invitational.
