Men's Cross Country 13th at NE-10 Championship
COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Southern New Hampshire University men's cross country team finished 13th out of 15 schools competing at the Northeast-10 Cross Country Championship hosted by Saint Michael's College Sunday.
Jason Bays (Cresco, Pa.) was the top finisher for Southern New Hampshire, posting a time of 30:17 on the eight kilometer course to finish 106th overall. Sam Tarrant (Cleverdale, N.Y.) finished 18 seconds behind Bays, while Kevin Coyle (Salem, N.H.) posted a time of 30:42. Tyler Parks (Moltonborough, N.H.) finished with a career-best time of 31:09, while Mike Smith (Lynnfield, Mass.) rounded out the Penmen scorers with a 31:27 effort.
Matt Gray (Haverhill, Mass.) (33:46) and Brian White (Windham, N.H.) (35:27) also competed for the Penmen.
Southern New Hampshire closes out its season at the NCAA East Regional at Boston's Franklin Park Sunday, November 8.
