Notes: The Warriors will be looking to solidify their hold on second place in the Northeast-10 Conference Northeast Division when they visit the Penmen for a three-game set beginning Saturday. Merrimack split its most recent set with Assumption College after handling the Greyhounds, 11-4, in the opener before dropping a 2-1 final in Wednesday's second game. The Warrior offense was the story in game one, as doubles by senior Megan Cook (Bellingham, Mass.) and freshman Elizabeth McCoy (Houston, Texas) coupled with a big fly from junior Nicole Nanof (Goffstown, N.H.) to led Merrimack to the triumph. Cook would pick up the win in the circle after hurling eight innings and giving up four runs while fanning four.
