2010:  Appeared in 35 games on the season for the Penmen, including 30 appearances off of the mound while also making 17 pitching starts…collected first win of the season against Post (3/24), pitching eight innings while allowing no earned runs, four hits, a walk, and two strikeouts…collected consecutive wins against Merrimack (4/2) and Stonehill  (4/3), allowing only three runs over 13 1/3 innings…pitched 4 2/3 innings of one hit ball against Bentley (4/6)…held Saint Anselm (4/13) to three runs over seven innings, allowing nine hits, walking two and striking out four…held Pace (4/18) and Adelphi  (4/19) to a combined two earned runs over two consecutive appearances, pitching 14 innings, striking out 10 batters and allowing no walks and compiling a 2-0 record over that span…collected tenth victory over the season against Franklin Pierce (4/21), pitching seven innings, allowing five earned runs while walking three and striking out three… pitched 156 total innings with a 3.41 ERA, allowing 76 earned runs while walking 51, striking out 91, and compiling a win/loss record of 11-12…her 156 innings pitched placed her sixth overall in the Northeast-10 Conference in that category…slapped two doubles against Stonehill (4/3), driving in a run…had her first collegiate four RBI game against Le Moyne (4/10), aided by her first career home run.

2009:Northeast-10 Second Team All-Conference...appeared in 20 games in the circle (10 starts) and posted a team-best 1.65 earned run average while fanning 89 in 89 innings of work...held opponents to a .227 batting average...ranked fifth in the NE-10 in ERA, ninth in opponent batting average and 10th in strikeouts...also played 24 games in the field with 14 starts...worked three innings and did not allow a hit in a start at Barry (3/23)...allowed two hits in five innings of relief to earn a win at Saint Michael's, fanning seven (3/31)...worked 4.1 innings of relief and surrendered two hits and no runs to pick up a victory against New Haven (4/2)...allowed three hits and fanned seven in 7.1 innings of relief in a win over nationally-ranked Southern Connecticut (4/4)...struck out career-high 12 in a complete-game victory at Franklin Pierce (4/13)...allowed just four hits and fanned 11 in a seven-inning win at Stonehill (4/16)...fanned eight and surrendered just four hits in a win at Merrimack (4/24)...allowed just three hits and registered five strikeouts in 6.2 innings in a 1-0, walkoff loss at Merrimack in the NE-10 Tournament (4/29).

At Iona: Played in eight games and batted .250...also pitched in five contests and struck out 10 in 13 innings of work.

High School/Personal: 2007 graduate of Scarborough HS where she lettered in softball, basketball and soccer...played softball for father Tom Griffin...struck out 168 batters in 105 innings as a senior and allowed just two earned runs...also batted .412...2007 Maine Gatorade Player of the Year...2007 Miss Maine Softball...2007 All-State MVP by Portland Press Herald...three-time Portland Press Herald All-State First Team...led the Red Storm to a 22-0 record and a state championship as a senior...two-time conference champions...team captain...daughter of Tom and Mary Griffin...father played baseball at the University of Maine...brother Mike runs track and cross country at Springfield College...enjoys doing crafts, listening to music and watching movies...names the Boston Red Sox as her favorite team...Elementary Education major.
