2010:  One of five Penmen players to appear in all 40 games on the season…went 2-4 with an RBI against NYIT (3/20)…concluded double-header against Post (3/24) collecting three hits in eight at-bats while driving in three and scoring three times…went 5-6 in a double-header against Merrimack (4/2)…blasted first home run of the season in a 4-1 victory over Stonehill (4/3)…went 3-3 against UMass Lowell (4/7), hitting a double and a home run...had a five-game hitting streak between April 7 and April 11, batting .438 with two doubles, a home run, and two runs batted in…concluded a double-header against Franklin Pierce (4/21) with three hits in seven at-bats, including a home run and two runs batted in…went 2-2 against Saint Michael’s (4/30) with a home run…concluded season with a .273 batting average with three doubles and five home runs.

2009: Played in 44 games and was in the starting lineup 43 times...batted .267 with team- high seven home runs and 18 runs batted in...18 RBI was tied for third on the squad, while seven home runs are tied for the single-season school record...went 2-5 with a home run and three RBI in a doubleheader sweep at Saint Michael's (3/31)...belted a solo home run against C.W. Post (4/11)...was 5-8 with a home run and four runs driven in in a doubleheader sweep at Franklin Pierce (4/13)...homered in back-to-back games against Stonehill (4/16) and Molloy (4/18)...was 4-6 with three RBI in a sweep of Molloy...also homered against Assumption (4/23), Merrimack (4/24) and Saint Rose (4/26).

At NHTI: Spent one season at NHTI playing for the Lynx...All-Conference selection.

High School/Personal: 2007 graduate of Manchester West HS where she lettered in softball, soccer and basketball...played softball for coach Dan Drewniak...four-time All-State selection in softball and two-year captain...ranks second in New Hampshire high school history in career shutouts in soccer (51) and was a four-time All-State keeper...helped lead the Blue Knights to a Class L title as a sophomore...born Melissa Robin Vitagliano on May 8, 1989...daughter of Mark and Jill Vitagliano...cousin Elizabeth Wheeler played soccer at SNHU...Child Development major.
