    ATLANTA – The Southern New Hampshire University women’s basketball team held the No. 14 spot in the 2016-17 Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division II Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll when the WBCA announced it Wednesday morning.
  • Penmen Earn Third Straight Queen City Cup

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University athletic department was handed its third consecutive “Queen City Cup” by Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas at City Hall on Monday afternoon after the Penmen defeated Saint Anselm College in the year-long competition encompassing 16 sports contested between the two schools. SNHU posted a 20-14 victory this season after chalking up a 26-10 win last year and winning 22-12 in the Cup’s inaugural year back in 2014-15.

    BEDFORD, N.H. – Senior Devin Gilligan (Amherst, N.H.) and graduate student Abla Chadli (Rabat, Morocco) took home male and female Athlete of the Year honors, respectively, to highlight nine major awards that were given out Monday night as the Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics & Recreation celebrated the 2016-17 season and recognized its seniors at the 52nd Annual Athletic Awards Ceremony, which was held at the Manchester Country Club.
