    Junior Kylie Lorenzen (Holliston, Mass.) scored 17 points and tied her career high with 15 rebounds, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team was defeated by Stonehill College, 65-53, Saturday afternoon at the SNHU Fieldhouse.

    The Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team, fresh off its upset of third-ranked Bentley University, will have another dragon to slay Saturday, Dec. 9 (1:30 p.m.) as it hosts Stonehill College at the SNHU Fieldhouse, with first place in the NE10 Northeast Division up for grabs.

    Junior Kylie Lorenzen (Holliston, Mass.) scored a team-high 13 points, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team fell to the University of the Sciences, 65-56, in the season opener Friday night, as part of the USciences Conference Challenge at Bobby Morgan Arena.
  • WGIR to Air 21 Penmen Basketball Games in 2017-18

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – WGIR 610 AM, based in Manchester, will broadcast a total of 21 Southern New Hampshire University men’s and women’s basketball games during the 2017-18 season. The schedule, which includes nine Northeast-10 Conference doubleheaders, kicks off with a home twinbill versus Merrimack College on Tuesday, Nov. 21 (5:15 p.m.).

    MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Southern New Hampshire University women’s basketball team was selected to finish fifth in the Northeast Division of the Northeast-10 Conference for the second straight season, according to the NE10 Preseason Coaches Poll that was released by the league office Wednesday morning.
  • Trio of Queen City Cup Clashes Coming to SNHU Arena in February

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – Last September, the SNHU name took over the civic arena in Manchester. Now, the Southern New Hampshire University women’s and men’s basketball, and men’s ice hockey teams take over the SNHU Arena for three games against crosstown-rival Saint Anselm College this coming February.
  • SNHU Reaches Agreement with FOX College Sports to Air 16 Games in 2017-18

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics has struck a deal with FOX College Sports to carry 16 Penmen games during the 2017-18 season. One women’s and men’s soccer match, 10 total basketball games and two softball and baseball tilts dot the schedule. The broadcasts will be produced by Pack Network.
