    Penmen Author Department-Record 3.34 Fall GPA MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University athletic department announced Friday that its 372 student-athletes posted a department-wide grade-point average of 3.34 in the fall semester, setting a new school mark and extending a streak of consecutive semesters of a department GPA of 3.0 or better to nine.

    SNHU Announces New State-of-the-Art Athletic Facility Set to Open Fall 2017 MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University broke ground over the summer on a brand new $25-million multi-sport stadium for the Department of Athletics that will be home to men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s tennis, and women’s track & field. The facility, which will also host select field hockey home games, is expected to open in the Fall of 2017.

    SNHU Announces Expanded NESN Broadcast Package for 2016-17 MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics & Recreation has reached an agreement with NESN, New England’s most watched sports network, to carry at least 13 games across four different sports, with the potential to televise several more, including potential baseball and softball games, once NESN’s spring schedule is finalized. The broadcasts, which will air on NESNplus and NESN National, will be produced by Pack Network, SNHU’s partner in offering live video webcasts in 13 different sports.
