Chandronnait Advances to NSCC Fifth Place Match

MOBILE, Ala. - Junior Amber Chandronnait (Bow, N.H.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team advanced to the fifth place match in the Division II women's singles draw at the National Small College Championships on Friday.  Chandronnait, who fell to Julia Arguello in Thursday's opening round, defeated Anastasia Dabiza of Upper Iowa University 6-1, 6-3.

Chandronnait will face Darina Berkova of Northwood (Mich.) University in Saturday's fifth place match.  Chandronnait finished fifth in last year's tournament and was scheduled to face Berkova in the second round, but Berkova was unable to compete due to injury.
