  • Volleyball Captures Five-Set Thriller at American Int’l

    Junior Irem Bat (Istanbul, Turkey) and senior Priscila Castro (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) combined for 29 kills in a pair of double-double performances, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team rallied for a five-set victory at American International College on Friday night at Butova Gymnasium. Set scores were 27-29, 25-21, 22-25, 25-23, 15-12.

  • Volleyball Upsets Pace with Five-Set, Come-From-Behind Win

    Sophomore Irem Bat (Istanbul, Turkey) rattled off a career-best 24 kills to lead the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team out of a 2-0 hole and to a five-set Homecoming victory against Pace University on Saturday at the Stan Spirou Field House. Set scores were 10-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-11.
  • Northeast-10 Announces Launch of NE10 NOW Streaming Service

    MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast 10 Conference and Southern New Hampshire University have announce the inaugural season of NE10 NOW, a new high-quality streaming service for fans across the country to watch sporting events of the league’s 15 member institutions throughout the academic year.

  • Volleyball Hoping for Bounce-Back Result Saturday Against Pace

    The Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team will go up against another tough NE10 foe Saturday, Oct. 13 (1 p.m.) when it hosts Pace University at the Stan Spirou Field House. The team will be celebrating Homecoming and Dig Pink, with donations being accepted for Catholic Medical Center's Breast Care Center.

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University Director of Athletics Anthony Fallacaro announced Thursday the department will no longer charge admission to any of its regular-season athletic events beginning in 2018-19, and will instead present fans with an opportunity to provide a donation that will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which is the official charity of NCAA Division II, the Northeast-10 and the SNHU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

    Sophomore Irem Bat (Istanbul, Turkey) registered a team-high 14 kills in two matches, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team closed out the Vulcan Invitational with a pair of 3-0 losses to Indiana (Pa.) University and Mercyhurst University on Saturday at California (Pa.) University’s Hamer Hall. Set scores against the Crimson Hawks were 25-16, 25-22 and 25-14, while they were 25-15, 25-18 and 25-12 in the match with the Lakers.
  • Volleyball Swept by Bloomsburg in Opener of Vulcan Invitational

    Sophomore Irem Bat (Istanbul, Turkey) recorded a double-double of 11 kills and 19 digs, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team was blanked by Bloomsburg University, 3-0 (25-20, 26-24, 25-19), Friday afternoon in its opener at California (Pa.) University's Vulcan Invitational at the Convocation Center.

    Junior Baylee Lippincott (Phoenix, Ariz.) and sophomore Irem Bat (Istanbul, Turkey) each recorded 13 kills to lead the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team to a 3-1 (26-24, 22-25, 25-21, 25-23) victory against unbeaten Saint Anselm College, salvaging Sunday’s tri-match at the Stan Spirou Field House. The Penmen opened the day by absorbing a 3-0 loss to Stonehill College.
