Women's Cross Country 12th at Northeast-10 Championship
COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country team finished 12th out of 16 schools competing at the Northeast-10 Cross Country Championship hosted by Saint Michael's College Sunday.
Sophomore Emma Lundberg (Hebron, N.H.) was the top Penmen finisher, as she was 35th overall with a time of 19:57 for the five-kilometer course. Junior Melissa Hurley (Ashaway, R.I.) finished 39th overall, posting a personal-best time of 20:00 even. Freshman Christina Montefusco (Danvers, Mass.) was 87th overall with a 21:16 effort.
Jacquelyn Dussault (Manchester, N.H.) finished the course with a time of 21:32, while Laura Durvin (North Scituate, R.I.) posted a time of 23:24, a collegiate-best for her.
Southern New Hampshire closes out its season at the NCAA East Regional at Boston's Franklin Park Sunday, November 8.
