Women's Cross Country Finishes 11th Overall at Codfish Bowl
Boston, Mass. - The Southern New Hampshire University women’s cross country team finished 11th overall at the Codfish Bowl held Saturday at Franklin Park.
Senior Emma Lundberg (Hebron, N.H.) was
SNHU’s top finisher, coming in 31st with a time of
19:58 for the 5K course. Christina Powell
(Granby, Mass.) was 131st with a 22:03 effort, while
Melissa Stacom (Massapequa, N.Y.) finished in the
144th spot with a 22:13 time.
Kelsey Parker (Tewksbury, Mass.) posted a
time of 22:47, while Jacquelyn Dussault
(Manchester, N.H.) turned in a 22:36 effort. Sarah
Kennedy (Appleton, Maine) finished the race with a time of
26:51 and Laura DiPietro (Auburn, N.H.) rounded
out the Penmen finishers with a time of 28:05.
The SNHU women’s cross country team returns to action
October 1 when it competes at the Pop Crowell Invitational at
Gordon College. The race begins at 10:45 a.m.
