Erin Doherty (Marshfield, Mass.) averaged 9.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game, while shooting 60 percent (9-15) from the field, during a 1-1 week for the Penmen. Doherty posted 13 points (6-9 FG), seven rebounds and three assists in a 56-55 victory against Franklin Pierce University on Wednesday and then chipped in six points (3-6 FG) and three boards in a 69-58 loss at Stonehill College on Saturday.

Male Athlete of the Week: Chris Walters - men's basketball - R-So., F

Women's Basketball (14-12, 8-12 Northeast-10)
Last Week’s Results:
2/17 vs. Franklin Pierce – W, 56-55
2/20 at Stonehill – L, 69-58
This Week’s Games:
2/23 vs. Saint Anselm – 5:30 p.m. (Senior Night/Code Blue)

Notes:
- The Stonehill loss Saturday ended Southern New Hampshire's postseason hopes as it finds itself a game out of the fifth and final playoff spot in the Northeast-10 Northeast Division with one game to play. Even with a win Tuesday against Saint Anselm College and losses by both Stonehill and Merrimack College, the Penmen would lose the tiebreaker by virtue of its 0-4 record against the Skyhawks and Warriors.
- Sophomore Olivia Conrad (Hanover, Mass.) registered the first double-double of her career with 13 points and 10 rebounds in the nail-biting victory against Franklin Pierce. Conrad averaged 9.5 points and 7.0 rebounds over the course of the week.
- Senior Erin Doherty added 13 points and seven boards in the win against the Ravens and posted 9.5 points and 5.0 rebounds during the week.

Men’s Basketball (17-10, 13-7 Northeast-10)
Last Week’s Results:
2/17 vs. Franklin Pierce – W, 89-75
2/20 at Stonehill – L, 69-66
This Week’s Games:
2/23 vs. Saint Anselm – 7:30 p.m. (Senior Night/Code Blue)
2/26 or 2/28 vs./at TBA - TBA (Northeast-10 Championship first round/quarterfinal)

Notes:
 - The Penmen have won seven of their last nine and currently sit in fourth place in the Northeast-10 Northeast Division - just one game out of third place and two games back of the top spot with one regular-season contest remaining.
- SNHU has clinched no worse than the No. 4 seed in the Northeast-10 Northeast Division standings, which would put them at home against the Southwest's No. 5 seed on Friday, Feb. 26. The Penmen can earn the No. 3 seed with a win Tuesday against Saint Anselm, combined with losses by both Bentley University (vs. Merrimack) and Stonehill (at Saint Michael's). A No. 3 seed would give Southern New Hampshire a Friday bye and send it to the Southwest's No. 2 seed on Sunday, Feb. 28.
 - Redshirt-sophomore Chris Walters averaged 20.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 2.5 steals and 1.0 assist per game, while shooting 66.7 percent (14-21) from the field, 50 percent (2-4) from beyond the arc and 73.3 percent (11-15) from the stripe.
 - Head coach Stan Spirou is sitting on career win No. 598.
 - The team has won 12 of its last 16 against Northeast-10 foes, overall, and is 9-1 against them at home.

Men’s Ice Hockey (8-14-4, 4-3-4 Northeast-10)

  - The loss snapped the Penmen's six-game unbeaten streak, during which they were 3-0-3.
 - Sophomore goaltender Ryan Slatky (Manchester, N.H.) stopped 38 shots in the loss for his 11th 30-plus save game of the season and his 10th such contest with at least 35 stops.
