SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - Senior pitcher Ryan Quinn (Lebanon, CT) of the Southern New Hampshire University baseball team was named Northeast-10 Third Team All-Conference, it was announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
Quinn, a right hander, started 12 games for the Penmen this season and recorded a 5-5 record, threw five complete games and posted a team-best 3.50 earned run average. He struck out a single-season school record 100 batters on the season while walking just 21 in 87.1 innings of work. He led the Northeast-10 in strikeouts during the regular season and in the most recent NCAA statistical ranking, ranked eighth in Division II in strikeouts and 30th in strikeouts per nine innings. He struck out a career-high 14 batters twice in wins over American International and Pace.
A graduate of Lyman Memorial HS, Quinn wrapped up his career ranked third in career strikeouts at SNHU with 168.
