MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University cheerleading team recently conducted its first-ever National Cheerleaders' Association (NCA) Home Camp inside the SNHU Fieldhouse.
Members of the NCA staff traveled from Texas to Manchester in an effort to work with the Penmen on elite skills over the course of two days. Head coach Michelle McCarty deemed the camp a resounding success, as the NCA was able to help SNHU master technical abilities sought out by a number of top cheerleading institutions across the country. For their efforts in the NCA Home Camp, the Penmen were presented with a Collegiate Bronze Bid to the 2018 NCA Collegiate National Championship.
