SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - Sophomore Troy Maybury (South Portland, ME) of the Southern New Hampshire University ice hockey team was named the Northeast-10 Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. In addition, junior Ryan DiBartolomeo (Leominster, MA) and sophomore Bob Bryant (Nashua, NH) were each named to the league's Weekly Honor Roll.
Maybury totaled five goals and an assist in three games last week. He recorded two goals in setbacks to Saint Anselm Tuesday and Wentworth Saturday, while registering a goal and an assist in a 6-3 win over Franklin Pierce on Thursday night. This season, Maybury leads the Penmen in scoring with 15 goals and nine assists for 24 points.
DiBartolomeo and Bryant each finished last week with a goal and four assists in three games. DiBartolomeo had a goal and two assists in the win over the Ravens and two assists against Wentworth, while Bryant had two helpers each against Saint Anselm and Wentworth. Bryant leads SNHU with 17 assists, while DiBartolomeo has notched six goals and 13 assists.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Stonehill College in a 7:30 contest at The Ice Den.
