Now Available: 2016-17 SNHU Athletics Year in Review
July 31, 2017MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics and Recreation has released its annual Year in Review, highlighting the successes enjoyed by its 20 varsity teams in the 2016-17 academic year. The 36-page report highlights the Penmen's success in competition, the classroom and the community. -
Penmen Earn Third Straight Queen City Cup
July 17, 2017MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University athletic department was handed its third consecutive “Queen City Cup” by Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas at City Hall on Monday afternoon after the Penmen defeated Saint Anselm College in the year-long competition encompassing 16 sports contested between the two schools. SNHU posted a 20-14 victory this season after chalking up a 26-10 win last year and winning 22-12 in the Cup’s inaugural year back in 2014-15. -

Student-Athletes Honored at 52nd Annual SNHU Athletic Awards Ceremony
April 24, 2017BEDFORD, N.H. – Senior Devin Gilligan (Amherst, N.H.) and graduate student Abla Chadli (Rabat, Morocco) took home male and female Athlete of the Year honors, respectively, to highlight nine major awards that were given out Monday night as the Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics & Recreation celebrated the 2016-17 season and recognized its seniors at the 52nd Annual Athletic Awards Ceremony, which was held at the Manchester Country Club. -
Collins, Lorenzen Tabbed Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference
