Notes: The Penmen head into Saturday's showdown with the Wildcats in the midst of a four-game winning streak after topping Worcester State University, 4-2, on Tuesday. Senior Jay Sylvia (Acushnet, Mass.) scored twice, and graduate student Joe Collins (Mansfield, Mass.) added a goal and a helper to lead the Southern New Hampshire offense.  Junior Ryan Slatky (Manchester, N.H.) anchored the Penmen defense with 46 saves, and he assisted on what proved to be the game-winning goal late in the second period.

Notes: After opening up their season with back-to-back wins, the Wildcats have gone winless in six-straight games dating back to November 3. Johnson & Wales makes the trip to the Ice Den after battling to a 1-1 tie against Assumption College at Buffone Arena on Tuesday night. The Greyhounds took a 1-0 lead midway through the second period, but senior Connor Bates (Laconia, N.H.) knotted games with just under five minutes remaining in the stanza to cap the game's scoring. Senior Joey Ballmer (Kalamazoo, Mich.) made the score stand, as he turned aside 32 of the 33 shots he faced.
