Notes: The Penmen completed a three-game sweep of Bentley with a 6-1 win yesterday.  They claimed a pair of wins Saturday, 2-0 and 3-1.  Junior Maddy Barone (Halifax, Mass.) pitched the shutout in Saturday's opener, and then worked five more scoreless innings on Sunday before yielding a run.  That snapped her scoreless streak at 32 innings.  Barone leads the NE10 with a 1.08 ERA...Sophomore Olivia Strasser (Rutland, Mass.) earned the win in Saturday's second game.  Her ERA of 1.65 is fourth best in the league....Senior Erin Garczynski (Norwood, Mass.) had her fifth three-hit game of the season on Sunday and leads the NE10 with a .443 average.  Garczynski had a 13-game hit streak snapped with an 0-for-3 in Saturday's second game...Junior Gabriella Vachon (Newton, Mass.) homered, doubled and drove in all three runs in Saturday's second game win.  She also earned the save, her third, with two strikeouts to end the contest.  Vachon leads the team with five homers and 19 RBI...The Penmen took two of three from the Ravens last season.

Notes: The Ravens travel to SNHU on a four-game losing streak after being swept in three games at Assumption over the weekend...The Greyhounds won by scores of 2-1, 4-1 and yesterday, 2-0.  Assumption hit a pair of solo homers, one off starter and losing pitcher sophomore Cyrena Zemaitis, the other off reliever junior Amelia Mamone...Junior Ashley Conway had two of the Ravens four hits in the contest...On Saturday, freshman Cat Simmons hit a solo homer to put Franklin Pierce up 1-0 in the first game, but Assumption rallied against Zemaitis for single runs in the sixth and seventh...Zemaitis struck out nine in the game...Simmons went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI to account for the scoring in the second game Saturday...Andy Klaus is in his first season as the head coach of the Ravens.
