Notes: The Penmen look to continue their program-record 17 game winning streak as they host Adelphia for a double-header on Sunday.  Down 1-0 to the Setters going to the bottom of the fifth inning yesterday, senior Erin Garczynski (Norwood, Mass.) homered.  Junior Gabriella Vachon (Newton, Mass.) delivered a game-winning two-run double in the bottom of the sixth to make a winner out of junior Maddy Barone (Halifax, Mass.).   In the second game, freshman Chloe Griffin (Salem, N.H.) hit a two-run homer and freshman Emily Carbonneau (Lowell, Mass.) also homered, her sixth.  Sophomore Olivia Strasser (Rutland, Mass.) went the distance for her fourth shutout in the 4-0 win.  The Penmen are 10-0 in Northeast-10 play this season.  Today concludes a seven-game homestand.

Notes: The Panthers travel to Hooksett leading the NE10 Southwest Division with a 9-2 mark after splitting a pair at Franklin Pierce yesterday.  In an 11-2, run-rule, opener that went five innings, Adelphi scored seven times in the third.  Ally Muller improved to 11-5, allowing three hits, but four walks.  In the nightcap, the Panthers scored three runs in the sixth and seventh to rally and force extra innings.  Franklin Pierce won the game in ten innings, 5-4.  Nicoletta Cuccio homered in the top of the seventh to tie the game at 3-3.  The last time these teams met one another was in the NE10 semifinals a year ago.  The Panthers won 5-4 in eight innings.
