Notes: The Penmen look to continue their program-record 21 game winning streak as they host Assumption for three key games. SNHU, now ranked 13th in the nation, swept a doubleheader on Wednesday from Franklin Pierce.  Sophomore Shay Sauvageau (Griswold, Conn.) went 7-for-7 in the two games.  Freshman Emily Carbonneau (Lowell, Mass.) homered in the first game to put the Penmen in front for good in a 4-1 win.  Her seventh home run puts her atop the NE10 in that category.  Sophomore Jackie Gavin (Laconia, N.H.) had three hits in the second game, including two doubles.  The Penmen won 11-1.  Senior Maddy Barone (Halifax, Mass.) went the distance for her fifteenth win in the opener.  Sophomore Olivia Strasser (Rutland, Mass.) picked up her tenth win in the nightcap.  The 17 hits recorded in the second game was a season-high.  SNHU swept the three games with Franklin Pierce this season.

Notes: The Greyhounds saw a four-game winning streak snapped in a 12-8 loss in eight innings to Merrimack.  Alyssa Beaton knocked in three runs, and Kayla Peabody drove in three, but Merrimack rallied with two runs in the seventh and scored four in the eighth to secure the win on Thursday afternoon.  Last season, the Penmen took two of three games in Worcester as the regular season came to an end.  Alyssa Beaton is among the top players in the NE10, ranking 2nd in RBI (25) and fifth in batting average (.393).   The Greyhounds rank third in both team batting average and ERA in the NE10.
