Notes: - The Penmen won both games on the SNHU Softball Field yesterday.  They defeated Stonehill 4-1 to win the series with the Skyhawks, then finished a season sweep of Saint Michael's with an 8-3 win.  Freshman Emily Carbonneau (Lowell, Mass.) hit her NE10-leading tenth homer leading off the fourth inning of the Saint Michael's game to put the Penmen up 2-0...Senior Erin Garczynski (Norwood, Mass.) had a homer for SNHU.  She went 4-for-6 on the day with a pair of hits in each game, driving in four runs.  Junior Maddy Barone (Halifax, Mass.) broke a 1-1 tie with an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning of the first game - then finished in the circle for her first save of the season.  Barone was the winning pitcher in the Saint Michael's game.  Sophomore Olivia Strasser (Rutland, Mass.) allowed just an unearned in the Stonehill win, tossing the first six innings.  She improved to 14-1.
Junior Erin Tyrrell (Milford, N.H.) had four hits on the day, including her fourth triple of the season.

The Penmen will close the regular season with three games at Merrimack.  The teams are scheduled to play a single game on Friday followed by a doubleheader on Saturday.

Notes: This Hawks swept a doubleheader from Assumption yesterday, completing a three-game sweep of the series.  Saint Anselm, winners of six straight, defeated the Penmen last Wednesday 2-1 and 4-3 to claim the Queen City Cup points for the regular season.  SNHU leads the quest for the Cup 19-17 across all sports and all seasons....Today's likely starter Morgan Perry held the Penmen to three hits in last Wednesday's 2-1 win where she was matched up against Maddy Barone....The Hawks scored a pair on Barone in the fifth inning on a double by Bailey Cain and a single by Shannon Colson...In yesterday's first game, a 7-1 win over Assumption, Perry pitched a complete game and Maddison Leite hit a two-run homer....they scored seven runs in the bottom of the fifth inning of the nightcap to erase a 4-2 lead for the Greyhounds- the game was called after five because of rain.
