Women's Golf Sits Fourth at NE-10 Championship

Southern New Hampshire 365 (4th/5)

A pair of freshmen led Southern New Hampshire as it sits in fourth place out of five teams following the first round of the 2015 Northeast-10 Women's Golf Championship Friday.

Kailey Coleman (North Berwick, Maine) and Kaitlyn Lutinski (Derry, N.H.) each shot an 88 to finish tied for ninth in the field of 29 following day one action on the par 73 layout.  Aimee Cawlina (Peabody, Mass.) carded a 93 and sits tied for 15th, while Kerry Twomey (Londonderry, N.H.) posted a 96.

 - Merrimack College (319) holds a 36 shot lead over second place Franklin Pierce University, while Le Moyne sits one shot back of the Ravens in third.  SNHU is nine shots back of the Dolphins, with Assumption College (416) rounding out the field.
 - Cawlina's 93 was a season-best, while Coleman matched her season-low round.
 - Assumption's Alyssa Ruggieri had a hole in one on the 145-yard par 3 5th hole. 

What's Next:

Women's golf returns to action next weekend at the Northeast-10 Championship Friday and Saturday at Village Club of Sands Point in Sands Point, N.Y.
