Women's Golf Wraps Up Fall Slate with Second-Place Finish at FPU Invitational

Freshman Kaitlyn Lutinski (Derry, N.H.) carded the lowest round in program history, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team finished second at the Franklin Pierce University Invitational at the Bretwood Golf Course on Monday. The Penmen closed of their fall slate by shooting a two-day score of 712, which trailed Franklin Pierce (635) and topped Assumption College (829).

After setting a new school record on Sunday with an 81, Lutinski followed up her performance by firing an 80 to finish fifth overall with a total of 161. It also marked the second time this season she finished in the top-five of a tournament.

Juniors Kerry Twomey (Londonderry, N.H.) and Aimee Cawlina (Peabody, Mass.) each posted their second top-10 performances of the fall. Twomey shot a career-best 83 on Monday after turning in an 89 on Sunday to place seventh with a 172. Cawlina was eighth after back-to-back 88s, and freshman Kailey Coleman (North Berwick, Maine) totaled a 203 to place No. 14.

 - Lutinski now owns the three lowest rounds in school history at 80, 81 and 82.
 - The Franklin Pierce Invitational featured 20 student-athletes from six institutions.
 - The Ravens' Camden Morrison took medalist honors with a two-day score of 152.
