Women’s Golf Fourth After Round One of Barton Intercollegiate

Score: Southern New Hampshire University (363), 4th/5

Junior Kerry Twomey (Londonderry, N.H.) shot an 86 on Monday and the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team sits in fourth place after one round of the Barton Intercollegiate, hosted by Barton College.

The Penmen totaled a 363, which is 14 strokes better than Chowan University. The University of Mount Olive leads the pack with a 314.

Twomey is tied for 14th and is just three shots back of the top 10.

Junior Aimee Cawlina (Peabody, Mass.) fired an 88 to finish 19th after round one, while freshman Kaitlyn Lutinski (Derry, N.H.) carded a 91 to place 22nd.

Freshman Kailey Coleman (North Berwick, Maine) posted a 98 and is tied for 24th following Monday's round.

- The Barton Intercollegiate is comprised of 30 student-athletes from nine institutions.

What's Next:
The Penmen are back in action Tuesday, March 15 for the final round of the Barton Intercollegiate.
