Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at Barton Intercollegiate

Score: Southern New Hampshire University (759), 4th/5

Junior Aimee Cawlina (Peabody, Mass.) carded an 89 on Tuesday as the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team finished fourth at the Barton Intercollegiate, hosted by Barton College at Wilson Country Club.

The Penmen totaled a 759, shooting a 396 following Monday's 363 to finish 21 strokes ahead of Chowan University. The University of Mount Olive won with a 632.

Cawlina placed 17th with a 177, just five shots back of the top 10.

Freshman Kaitlyn Lutinski (Derry, N.H.) carded a 92 to post a 183, which put her 20th overall. Junior Kerry Twomey (Londonderry, N.H.), who fired an 86 in the opening round, finished up with a 103 to place 22nd with a 189.

Freshman Kailey Coleman (North Berwick, Maine) came in 29th with a 210 following a 112 in Tuesday's final round.

- The Barton Intercollegiate is comprised of 30 student-athletes from nine institutions.

The Penmen are back in action Saturday-Sunday, April 16-17 at the Lady Penmen Spring Classic, hosted at Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown.
