Women's Tennis Keeps Rolling, Slows Saint Anselm

Records: SNHU 9-1 (9-1 Northeast-10), SAC 6-7 (5-6 NE-10)

The Southern New Hampshire women's tennis team ran its win streak to eight with a 7-2 win over Saint Anselm Saturday afternoon.

The Penmen swept doubles play and took four of six singles matches.  In doubles, Nour Kaddour (Paris, France) and Ashley Loft (Leysin, Switzerland) rallied for a 9-7 win at No. 1.  In singles, Loft won at No. 2, while Kaitlyn Poje (East Stroudsburg, Pa.), Lindsay Baum (North Salem, N.Y.) and Rachel Wagner (Framingham, Mass.) all won at No. 4-6 singles.

 - SNHU picked up two points in the Queen City Cup between SNHU and Saint Anselm.
 - The Penmen sit tied for second in the Northeast-10 standings with Stonehill.

Southern New Hampshire hosts Assumption Monday at noon.
