Volleyball Blanks Saint Anselm

The Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team swept Saint Anselm College in non-conference action on the Hilltop Wednesday night.

Carolyn Scacchi (Peabody, Mass.) led the Penmen in kills for the second straight night, racking up 14 on .367 hitting.  Megan Salamun (Scottsdale, Ariz.) hit .538 and notched eight kills, while Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) added seven.  Catherine Cotton (Murphy, Texas) totaled 36 assists and nine digs, while Maeghan Higgins (Hesperia, Calif.) and Holly Adams (Hopkinton, Mass.) also had nine digs apiece.

 - SNHU hit .326 as a team and limited the Hawks to hitting at a .189 clip.
 - Salamun and Adams each had two blocks.
 - All three Penmen victories this season have been by a 3-0 score.
  - The win gives SNHU an early 1-0 lead in the Queen City Cup. 

What's Next:

Southern New Hampshire travels to Pennsylvania to compete in the Kutztown Invitational Friday and Saturday.  The Penmen face Philadelphia University on Friday.
