MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics & Recreation will be showcased on an episode of "College Sports Weekly," which airs on a group of at least 10 networks, headlined by Fox College Sports and NESN, that are shown in more than 100 million households, covering all 50 states and more than 70 countries worldwide. The show, which is hosted by Tony Minnis and produced by Harry Cicma Productions, will be shot on campus April 22-24, with an air date expected some time in June.
The 30-minute episode will give viewers an inside look at the SNHU athletic department, including interviews with coaches and staff members, as well as a behind-the-scenes peek at its facilities, operations and support staff. The show will also highlight SNHU's many partnerships with professional organizations, along with its tradition of many student-athletes playing professionally following graduation.
Minnis previously profiled the Penmen men's and women's tennis programs in an episode of "Inside College Tennis" back in the fall of 2014. You can view the episode HERE.
"We are looking forward to having Tony and his crew on campus this weekend," Director of Athletics & Recreation Anthony Fallacaro said. "We were very pleased with how well the episode of "Inside College Tennis" turned out and are extremely excited to now be able to take what everyone at Southern New Hampshire knows is one of the top athletic departments in the region, and show it off on not just a national, but global, stage."
