Female Athlete of the Week: Paige Salmon - Women's Soccer - Sr., GK
Paige Salmon (W. Hempstead, N.Y.) stopped nine of the 10 shots she faced during a 1-0-1 week for the Penmen. She made eight of nine saves in Wednesday's 1-1 tie at Bentley and then made the only save she needed to in a 3-0 shutout of Saint Michael's on Saturday.

Male Athlete of the Week: Alex Satrustegui - Men's Soccer - Jr., F
Alex Satrustegui (Pamplona, Spain) recorded three goals and an assist during a 2-0-0 week SNHU. Satrustegui potted a pair of goals, including the match's first in the 10th minute, and handed out an assist on the game winner, in 3-1 victory at New Haven on Tuesday. Satrustegui then scored an insurance goal in a huge 2-0 win against Franklin Pierce on Saturday.

Notes:
- The Penmen, ranked 21st in last week's United Soccer Coaches Division II Poll, went 1-0-1 last week.
- Senior goalkeeper Paige Salmon (W. Hempstead, N.Y.) stopped nine of the 10 shots she faced during the week. She made eight of nine saves in Wednesday's 1-1 tie at Bentley and then made the only save she needed to in a 3-0 shutout of Saint Michael's on Saturday.
- Freshman Allyson Patterson's (Seekonk, Mass.) scored late in the 74th to tie the game at Bentley. It was the second time in three matches Patterson forced overtime with a goal in the 70th minute or later.
- Senior Rianna Fasanello (E. Bridegwater, Mass.) anchored a back line that allowed just one goal over 200 minutes. The Penmen allowed an early goal to Bentley and then kept their opponents off the board for the remaining 187:48 during the week, including the shutout of Saint Michael's. SNHU outshot its opponents, 41-17, during the week.

Notes:
- Men's soccer extended its winning streak to three matches with a 2-0 week.
- Junior Alex Satrustegui (Pamplona, Spain) recorded three goals and an assist during the week. Satrustegui potted a pair of goals, including the match's first in the 10th minute, and handed out an assist on the game winner, in 3-1 victory at New Haven on Tuesday. - Junior goalkeeper Daniel Milton (Ajax, Ontario) stopped eight of the nine shots he faced during the week, turning aside four of five against New Haven and then making all four saves against Franklin Pierce.
- Sophomore Romain Daniellou (Brest, France) notched a goal and two assists. He scored the game winner and assisted on an insurance tally at New Haven and then assisted the game winner against the Ravens.

Women's Volleyball (6-10, 2-5 NE10)

Notes:
- Volleyball had its two-match win streak snapped with a 3-1 loss at home to Stonehill on Tuesday.
- Senior Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) piled up 17 kills and 10 digs, while junior Jessica Dillon (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) did a little bit of everything with eight kills, four service aces, nine assists and 11 digs.

Notes:
- Field hockey dropped two more matches to nationally-ranked opponents last week and, after earning victories in five of its first six games, and two triumphs in Northeast-10 Conference action, is in the midst of a seven-game slide.
- Sophomore Laura van der Doorn (Beverwijk, The Netherlands) scored a pair of goals in the first 11 minutes to stake the Penmen to a 2-0 lead against ninth-ranked Stonehill on Saturday in a game they would eventually drop, 4-3.
- Junior goalkeeper Melanie Rennie (Madison, Conn.) stopped 13 of 16 shots she faced during the week. She turned aside seven of eight in a 1-0 loss to sixth-ranked Pace on Tuesday and then made six saves in the second half a the loss to stonehill.

- Women's tennis went 2-0 last week, as they posted 6-3 wins against Colby-Sawyer on Wednesday and Saint Michael's on Saturday.
- Junior Anna Sala (Matadepera, Spain) went 4-0 during the week, including 2-0 at No. 1 singles. Sala defeated Ashley Woodside, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 1 singles against Colby-Saywer and then took down Saint Michael's Margaret de Pont, 6-0, 6-3 at No. 1. She also teamed with freshman Casey Burns (Westbrook, Conn.) for an 8-5 win against Woodside and Yashu Yang, as well as an 8-3 triumph against de Pont and Abby Ramsay, at No. 1 doubles.
- Burns also went 4-0, as she breezed past Colby-Sawyer's Aislinn O'Connor, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 4 singles and then recorded a 6-2, 6-0 victory against Saint Michael's Amelia Weeks.

- Men's tennis went 1-0 last week, blanking Saint Michael's, 9-0, Saturday.
- Senior Tiago Fernandes (Porto, Portugal) went 2-0 during the week. Fernandes was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 1 singles against Matt Mosher and then teamed with Miguel Marreiros (Portimao, Portugal) for an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles against Mosher and Dan Foley.

- The Penmen won the Eagle Invitational at Watertown (Conn.) Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday and then finished 6th of 19 teams at the Le Moyne Fall Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club in Cicero, N.Y.
- Junior Sam Riemer (Canton, Mass.) was runner-up at the Eagle Invitational after shooting a 75 in the opening round and then carding the best round of the tournament with a 1-under 70 on the final day for a two-round total of 145.
- Sophomore Matt Paradis (Hooksett, N.H.) produced a two-day total of 137, going 7-under to earn individual medalist honors. Paradis fired a 5-under 67 in the opening round and then carded a 2-under 70 in the final round.
