MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University men's ice hockey, cheerleading and softball teams volunteered at the 12th annual Manchester Marathon, powered by SNHU, on Sunday.

The men's ice hockey team helped with registration, handing out mylar HeatSheets to runners at the finish line and clean up at the end of the vent.

The cheerleading team motivated runners throughout the day and also welcomed competitors as they crossed the finish line.

Softball, meanwhile, handed out water, Powerade, bananas and energy bars at the Livingston Park stop.

The men's division of the Manchester Marathon was won by SNHU cross country coach Nick Aguila, who finished nearly 10 minutes ahead of the runner-up in a time of two hours, 29 minutes and seven seconds.
