MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics will be holding the Penmen Stadium dedication and ribbon cutting on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m., with members of the SNHU community invited to attend.
The ceremony, which will take place outside the main entrance to the facility, will begin with remarks from the SNHU administration, followed by the actual ribbon cutting. From 10:15-11 a.m., tours of the building will be given, with light refreshments also served.
"We are pleased to officially be opening this first-class complex, which will instantly become one of the top athletic facilities in the region," said Director of Athletics Anthony Fallacaro. "While the building has been open for business with our coaches and staff in there for the last month, we are excited to share this state-of-the-art facility with the SNHU community and the rest of Penmen Nation."
The stadium will then officially open with men's lacrosse playing the first game ever against Georgian Court University at noon.
