Female Athlete of the Week: Hélène Servais - Field Hockey - Jr., F
Hélène Servais (Brussels, Belgium) tallied up nine points in the pair of Penmen victories, as she opened the week with a two-goal, two-assist effort in an 8-1 win over Saint Michael's on Wednesday, before scoring once and adding a helper in a 5-1 triumph against Mercy on Friday.

Male Athlete of the Week: João Brum - Men's Soccer - Gr., M
João Brum (Ribeira Grande, Portugal) recorded two goals and an assist for a five-point week, as the Penmen went 1-0-1. Brum scored both goals in Wednesday's 2-2 tie versus Post and then assisted on game winner late in a 2-1 win over Bridgeport on Saturday.

Women's Soccer (2-1-0, 0-1-0 NE10)

Notes:
- The Penmen, ranked eighth in the United Soccer Coaches Division II Poll, dropped a 4-0 decision at Adelphi on Saturday in their only match of the week.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Hannah Rose (Waterloo, Ontario) made six saves for SNHU.
- Fellow sophomore Sydney Carney (Northborough, Mass.) recorded the only shot on goal.

Notes:
- Men's soccer remained unbeated on the season with a 1-0-1 week.
- Graduate student João Brum (Ribeira Grande, Portugal) recorded two goals and an assist for a five-point week. Brum scored both goals in Wednesday's 2-2 tie versus Post and then assisted on game winner late in a 2-1 win over Bridgeport on Saturday.
- Fellow graduate student Alex Satrustegui (San Sebastian, Spain) potted his second goal of the season early against Bridgeport, while classmate Sami Gliguem (Paris, France) found the back of the net with just 6:42 to play in regulation to lift the Penmen to victory.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Patrick Quinn (Manchester, N.H.) stopped two of the three shots he faced in his Penmen debut to earn the win at Bridgeport, with senior Brian Murray (Camas, Wash.) turning away four shots against Post.

Notes:
- Volleyball went 1-3 in four matches at Nova Southeastern over the weekend.
- Senior Irem Bat (Istanbul, Turkey) racked up 34 kills (2.43 k/s), 44 digs (3.14 d/s), three service aces (0.21 sa/s) and five blocks (0.36 b/s) during the week. Bat, who played in three of the four matches and 14 of the 17 sets, posted a double-double of 13 kills and 12 digs in a five-set heartbreaking loss to Grand Valley State on Friday, before contributing 12 more kills, a career-best 27 digs and four blocks in a 3-2 win over Valdosta State on Saturday.
- Senior Jaclyn Maguire (Rochester, N.Y.) posted 41 kills (2.41 k/s), 45 digs (2.65 d/s) and five blocks (0.29 b/s). Maguire notched 11 kills and 10 digs in the loss to Grand Valley State, and exploded for a season-high 16 kills and 11 digs in the Valdosta State victory.
- Freshman Juliana Pacini (Sao Paulo, Brazil) registered 34 kills (2.27 k/s), 29 digs (1.93 d/s), six blocks (0.40 b/s) and three service aces (0.20 sa/s). Pacini narrowly missed a double-double with nine kills, 10 digs, five blocks and three aces against the Lakers, but helped power SNHU to the triumph over Valdosta State with a career-best 21 kills on .360 hitting and a career-high 17 digs.
- Senior Joanne Coffey (Merrimack, N.H.) dished 94 assists (6.71 a/s), while tallying 46 digs (3.29 d/s), nine kills (0.64 k/s), three service aces (0.21 sa/s), and three blocks (0.21 b/s). Coffey recorded six kills on .455 hitting, 31 assists and 16 digs versus GVSU, while racking up a season-best 52 assists, 18 digs and two aces against VSU.
- Freshman Angela Crosetti (Puebla, Mexico) piled up 62 digs (3.65 d/s), 26 assists (1.53 a/s) and three service aces (0.18 sa/s). Crosetti nearly reached double figures in digs in each match, with 17 against Grand Valley and 13 versus Nova Southeastern on Friday, as well as 23 versus Valdosta and nine in a 3-0 loss to No. 22 Wayne (Neb.) State on Saturday. She also dished 12 assists and recorded a pair of service aces against GVSU for the double-double.

- Field hockey went 2-0 last week, outscoring its opponents, 13-2, while picking up its first conference victory.
- Junior Hélène Servais (Brussels, Belgium) tallied up nine points in the pair of victories, as she opened the week with a two-goal, two-assist effort in an 8-1 win over Saint Michael's on Wednesday, before scoring once and adding a helper in a 5-1 triumph against Mercy on Friday.
- Freshman Lisa Hagel (Driehuis, The Netherlands) recorded seven points, registering the first hat trick of her career and adding an assist against the Purple Knights.
- Sophomore Emily Campbell (Raynham, Mass.) added an eight-point week with two goals and four assists. Campbell dished three helpers against Saint Michael's, and then recorded two goals and an assist in the win over the Mavericks.
- Senior Laura van der Doorn (Beverwijk, The Netherlands) scored a goal against Mercy that landed on ESPN SportsCenter as the No. 2 play of the day. 

- Graduate student Melanie Rennie (Madison, Conn.) stopped four of the five shots she faced, as she turned away both bids in the opening half of action against Saint Michael's, before making two more saves against Mercy. Junior Kate Pigsley (East Kingston, N.H.) made three of four stops in the final 30 minutes versus the Purple Knights.

- The Penmen finished second at the Le Moyne College Fall Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the Links at Erie Village in E. Syracuse, N.Y.
- Freshman Gabby Thomas (Johnstown, Ohio) finished third, overall, with a 152. She led the way in the opening round with a 75 and then shot a 77 in the final round, as the Penmen set a new single-round program record with a 311.
