Female Athlete of the Week: Sydney Carney - Women's Soccer - So., F
Sydney Carney (Northborough, Mass.) registered seven points on three goals and an assist during a 2-0-0 week for the Penmen. Carney powered SNHU to a 5-0 victory at St. Thomas Aquinas on Tuesday with her first career hat trick, before adding an assist on the eventual game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 win at Le Moyne.

Male Athlete of the Week: Pat Quinn - Men's Soccer - So., GK
Pat Quinn (Manchester, N.H.) stopped six of the seven shots he faced in SNHU's lone match of the week - a 2-1 victory over American Int'l on Saturday. Quinn made a pair of timely saves in the second half to preserve the one-goal Penmen lead.

Women's Soccer (8-3-0, 5-3-0 NE10)

Notes:
- The Penmen, ranked 23rd in the United Soccer Coaches Division II Poll, went 2-0-0 last week.
- Sophomore Sydney Carney (Northborough, Mass.) registered seven points on three goals and an assist during the week. Carney powered SNHU to a 5-0 victory at St. Thomas Aquinas on Tuesday with her first career hat trick, before adding an assist on the eventual game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 win at Le Moyne.
- Junior Allyson Patterson (Seekonk, Mass.) continued her torrid stretch to begin the season with a goal and two assists in the pair of victories. Patterson found the back of the net and assisted on the game winner at STAC, and then set up the contest's first goal at Le Moyne.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Hannah Rose (Waterloo, Ontario) stopped four of the five shots she faced during the week. Rose turned aside all three shots that came her way for her second shutout of the season against St. Thomas Aquinas. She then made one save in the win at Le Moyne.
- Freshman Victoria Roulston (E. Falmouth, Mass.) netted her first collegiate goal against the Spartans.

Men's Soccer (4-4-2, 2-3-1 NE10)

Notes:
- Men's soccer won its only match of the week, defeating visiting American Int'l, 2-1, Saturday night.
- Senior Michael Goncalves (Ludlow, Mass.) snapped a scoreless deadlock with 5:24 to play in the first half to begin the scoring.
- Graduate student Alex Satrustegui (San Sebastian, Spain) also scored in his first game back after missing three matches, adding insurance in the 56th minute.

Notes:
- Volleyball swept through a pair of matches last week to climb above .500 this late in the season for the first time since the 2014 campaign.
- Freshman Juliana Pacini (Sao Paulo, Brazil) posted 16 kills (2.67 k/s), two service aces (0.33 sa/s), 14 digs (2.33 d/s) and two blocks (0.33 b/s) during the week. Pacini recorded nine kills and eight digs in a 3-0 win at Assumption on Tuesday, before contributing seven kills and six digs in another three-set victory over Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday.
- Senior Baylee Lippincott (Phoenix, Ariz.) registered 15 kills (2.50 k/s) on .481 hitting and four blocks (0.67 b/s), as she led the way against Roberts Wesleyan with a season-high 11 kills on .450 hitting, to go with a pair of blocks.
- Freshman Angela Crosetti (Puebla, Mexico) collected 28 digs (4.67 d/s) and five assists (0.83 a/s). Crosetti tallied 14 digs and four assists at Assumption, before racking up 14 more digs and submitting a service ace versus Roberts Wesleyan.

Field Hockey (9-3, 6-2 NE10)

Notes:
- Field hockey, ranked No. 9 in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II Poll, went 2-0 last week. The Penmen have won three straight and are a half-game out of third place in the Northeast-10 standings.
- Senior Laura van der Doorn (Beverwijk, The Netherlands) scored two goals during the week - both game winners and both coming off assists from junior Hélène Servais (Brussels, Belgium). van der Doorn wrapped the scoring early in the 12th minute of Wednesday's 2-1 win over Bentley and then knocked home the overtime winner in the 65th minute of Saturday's 2-1 victory against St. Thomas Aquinas.
- Sophomores Cameron Whelan (Seabrook, N. H.) and sophomore Emily Campbell (Raynham, Mass.) also notched goals during the week.
- Graduate student Melanie Rennie (Madison, Conn.) stopped three of the five she faced in the two contests. Rennie made one save at Bentley and then recorded two against the Spartans.

Women's Tennis (11-1, 9-1 NE10)

- Women's tennis went a perfect 3-0 to wrap up its regular season slate and clinch a share of the Northeast-10 Regular-Season Championship.
- Sophomore Alexxa Etienne (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) went a perfect 6-0, including 3-0 in singles play, during the week. Etienne posted a 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 victory over Le Moyne's Francesca Lilliegren at No. 3 on Monday, then handed New Haven's Nicole Mika, 6-2, 6-4, at No. 3 on Saturday, before moving up to No. 2 on Sunday for a 6-4, 6-2 triumph over Daemen's Christina Stasiuk. Etienne also combined with freshman Magdalena Hubickova (Prague, Czech Republic) for a trio of No. 1 doubles wins. The duo outlasted Lilliegren and Birdem Oz, 7-6 (7-3), doubled up Mika and Lilia Rodriguez, 6-3, and held off Stasiuk and Lena Gruber, 7-6 (8-6).
- Freshman Isabella Andrade (Cochabama, Bolivia) went 5-0, including 3-0 in singles play. Andrade breezed past Le Moyne's Marta Perez, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 5, made quick work of New Haven's Katherine MacPhail at No. 5, 6-2, 6-1, and then blanked Daemen's Emily Clough, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 4. She also teamed with sophomore Elizabeth Dwyer (Cutchogue, N.Y.) for a pair of No. 3 doubles victories. The pair shut out Perez and Brooke Fernandez, 6-0, before defeating MacPhail and Alexa Orlando, 6-1.

Men's Tennis (4-0, 0-0 NE10)

- Men's tennis closed out the fall season a perfect 4-0 after defeating former NE10 foe, Merrimack, 4-3, Sunday.
- Senior Bas van Biezen (Sassenheim, Netherlands) went 2-0 in the victory over Merrimack. van Biezen toppled Alec Mackay Rodriguez, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2, at No. 3 singles and also teamed with brother and classmate Willem van Biezen (Sassenheim, Netherlands) for a 6-2 No. 1 doubles win against Denis Davydov and Conrad Koch. 

Cross Country

Notes:
- Men's and women's cross country ran at the New England Championship on Saturday at Franklin Park in Boston.
- The women finished 14th, overall, behind sophomore Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.), who placed 19th in a time of 18:24.1, which clocked in as the third-fastest time in program history.
- The men rested their top runners and slotted in 22nd. Sophomore Conner Leone (Southington, Conn.) led the way, finishing 83rd of 170 runners in 26:32.

Women's Golf

- Women's golf sits fifth after the opening round of the Northeast-10 Championship on Sunday at the Shenendoah Golf Course at Turning Stone in Verona, N.Y.
- Freshman Gabby Thomas (Johnstown, Ohio ) is seventh after shooting a 79 that has her seven shots off the pace.
