MANCHESTER, N.H. – For the second straight year, Southern New Hampshire University is leading the Northeast-10 Presidents' Cup standings through the fall season, with the league office releasing the rankings Tuesday afternoon.

SNHU, which had its highest finish ever when it placed fourth in the NE10 Presidents' Cup standings last season, is currently in first with 86.0 points, which is three-and-a-half points ahead of runner-up Stonehill College. The Penmen collected the highest number of points in field hockey (13.5), as it tied for second in the standings, with women's cross country (13.0) just behind for its second-place showing at the NE10 Championship. Southern New Hampshire, which fields nine of the 10 fall sports administered by the NE10, also finished first in percentage of possible points, as it collected 77 percent of a possible 112 points, slotting in ahead of Stonehill's 74 percent (82.5 of 111).
