Elena Nee joined the SNHU athletic department as Club Sports & Athlete Success Administrator in May 2017.
In her role, Nee oversees the club sports teams, including their equipment, schedules and transportation, while also managing budgets, hiring coaching staffs, developing policies and procedures, and serving as the liaison between club presidents and the coaching staffs. In addition, Nee also meets with new student-athletes and academically at-risk student-athletes to coordinate contracts for academic success. Nee, who is also the advisor of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at SNHU, works on special events, such as the SNHU Athletic Hall of Fame and SNHU Athletic Awards Ceremony.
Prior to her arrival, Nee spent nearly five years as the Assistant Director of Student Life, Student Involvement and Leadership at Daniel Webster College. At DWC, Nee advised the Student Government and Student Activity Board, coordinated campus events, including Family Weekend, Senior Week and Distinguished Service Awards, managed housing functions in Residence Life, including room assignments and staff selection, organized and ran the New Student Orientation Program, and oversaw the Peer Mentoring Program.
A native of Braintree, Mass., Nee received both her Associate's degree in Social Work and Bachelor's degree in sociology from Rivier University in May 2012, before earning her MBA from Daniel Webster in April 2015.
